The Parable of the Prodigal Son

The Parable of the Prodigal Son

I love this craft.  Help the kids trace their hands and cut them out of paper.  Use a glue stick to apply them to a piece of construction paper.  I went ahead and printed off the heads of each child and cut them out.  Glue the head to the back and then glue the story of the Prodigal Son inside.  Have each child decorate their hands... fingernail polish... rings... watches...  Then, when you put the hands together, glue them into a hug.  Just as the Prodigal Son's Father hugged him when he came back home, so does our Heavenly Father hug us as we enter into His gates.  How wonderful that will be!
What fun!
If you can, pull this off and just apply it to a page.  Print however many you need, cut them out and have the kids glue them within the arms.
I printed these on card stock and cut them out for the kids to apply to their own individual arms.
This is just an additional page.  Print one off and if visiting kids show up, they can draw their own face on the other side and cut them out to apply to their arms.
